Take My Junk, otherwise known as Thatha My Junk is run by Dylan Abbott, a young solopreneur in the heart of Johannesburg, South Africa. They say one mans junk is another mans treasure and with that Dylan decided to bring a first of its kind to homeowners in Jozi. Helping them safely remove unwanted used items and reselling or recycling them — hassle free.

The Challenge
A young solopreneur based in Johannesburg, South Africa needed a new brand identity and landing page to showcase his innovative new startup, Take My Junk: an on-demand recycling service.
The brief was clear: the site needed to look professional and reflect the simplicity of his business model. Plus he needed something fast – a website and identity that would set the tone for his new business, and allow him to quickly test out his product and service.

Brief in hand, the Khula team set to work. In just three short days, we’d created a simple, professional, yet playful brand identity and logo for this fledgling startup.
We then built out a one-pager landing page; complete with clear messaging to quickly communicate Take My Junk’s mission, service, and offering. We then helped kickstart the company’s social media pages with a few neatly-designed posts – allowing the new brand identity and colours to shine through.
