The Challenge
Forward-thinking solar power company — Riverside Energy — had an outdated WordPress website with blurry images and excessive copy. Users found it hard to navigate, and the online user experience (UX) didn’t match the excellent in-person service on which Riverside Energy had built its reputation. Not only that, they were struggling to keep the site updated with fresh content due to a complex and clunky CMS.
The Outcome
We started with competitor research and client discovery to unpack the market landscape and what makes Riverside unique. Once we had the copy and strategy together, we wireframed the site pages, applying a new look and feel with colors and typography that fitted their existing logo.
After updating the pages with a new and modern look, we built out the entire website, putting all the SEO fundamentals in place. Now, Riverside Energy has a website they can be proud of. It not only reflects their exceptional services, but it’s easy to maintain and update — without calling in a developer everytime.

"When we started exploring options for a new website, we were referred to Jamie at Khula Design Studio. As most inquiries go, Jamie started by scheduling a phone call to understand exactly what we were after. From the first call all the way to going live, the whole team at Khula takes care of everything. These are professionals when it comes to website design and branding and I highly recommend reaching out to them if you want the job done right. We had a great experience."
