Upgrading Plans

There are two ways in which you can upgrade your plan should you wish to add more pages or have a specific advance update: 



1. Upgrade your monthly plan to the next maintenance plan tier or one of our development plans should have a few pages to develop (this approach excludes copywriting and custom UX/UI Design)

Once the major updates or page/s are developed, you can simply downgrade here back to your regular plan that you were on.

2. If you would like to add a new page but need help with copywriting or custom UX/UI design and development. You can purchase these services as a one-off add-on that month. Once purchased, our Project Manager will email you with an estimated timeline and due date as to when you would receive these updates by.

How Do I Download Receipts / Invoices For My Plan?

After each bill has been processed in Stripe, you will automatically receive an email with the receipt / invoice. 



If you missed an email, you can simply login into your billing dashboard here to see your billing history and download previous receipts / invoices. 



If you would like to add your accountants or finance department email, please let us know and we will add this secondary email for you.

Rounds Of Revisions For Add-Ons

For our copywriting, UX/UI design, and development add-ons, it includes two (2) complete rounds of revisions. Should you have further feedback or changes beyond this, KHULA will issue a change order with a cost to complete the additional updates.

How To Use The QA Markup App Tool?

Once you have submitted the initial ticket with the debrief and task description, you can start using your Markup App link found in your main dashboard to leave us feedback and comments / follow up questions. 



You do not need to submit a new ticket for every update or piece of feedback. The easiest and fastest way to visually spot where you want your update done is through the Markup App tool.

You can toggle between “comment” and “browse” modes to easily click through pages and leave comments. You can also toggle between “devices”, desktop, tablet, and mobile on the top left corner of Markup App should the feedback be device specific.

Brand Accelerator

Phase 1: Unpacking Your Business & Vision

In this phase, we will kick off with a discovery call where we will ask a bunch of questions “interview style” to firstly understand who you are, what you do currently and looking forward, who you serve, your competitors, and everything in between.

Brand positioning and strategy work is a 2-3 week process and deep dive before our next real meeting.

Phase 2: Brand Strategy Reveal

In your strategy reveal call, we will unpack and present all the consumer or competitor research, industry insights, recommendations, and brand positioning for your business. We finish the reveal with your brand on a page that outlines your mission, vision, value proposition, proof pillar points, how you talk and core values. We call this “your true north star” for your brand.

Once approved and feedback is received, we move into the brand identity design phase which is a 2-3 week process.

Phase 3: Brand Identity Design Concept Reveal

In our next reveal meeting, we will present one solid brand concept in a presentation format that will cover and reveal your logo concept, colour theme, font choices, logo formats, and real-life mockups.

You will have 2 to 3 days to sit with the presentation once the reveal is done to see how the concept leaves you feeling. You will provide feedback and or approval.

We either go back to the drawing board until it's right or if approved, we proceed with preparing all your final brand assets and files for brand rollout and the next phases to follow.

Phase 4: IA, UX Wireframes & Copywriting

Internal Workings - Weekly Status Updates

In the background, the KHULA™ team will be mapping out the information architecture and structure for your website. We will create and draft low-fidelity UX wireframes to help our copywriters write copy that fits the design and vice versa.  

There might be some silence during this phase, BUT don’t worry, we are not on vacation, we are just in deep creative and design thinking mode.

Your big copy and UI design reveal will be next…

Phase 5: UI Design Homepage Reveal + Copy

In this reveal call, we will walk you through your homepage UI (user interface) design and visual direction with the actual web copy in our story flow and content structure.

During this call, we will share the homepage prototype and walk you through both the design and copy so that you can get a real feel of your new online presence and visual direction.

After this reveal, we will share the Figma prototype link for you and your team / friends to discuss and gather feedback  before we move into designing the rest of the UI pages *should you have purchased additional add-on pages.

As we complete each page, we will email the prototype link/s for each page for your review and feedback.

Once all pages are completed and approved. We will move into the next phase. Webflow development…

Phase 6: Webflow Development & Content Migration

Internal Workings - Weekly Status Updates

Once the UI design is approved, we move fast into development. We will create your Webflow account and connect your domain. We will be developing, day and night “while you’re sleeping”, and will send over the homepage staging link (the staging link is an environment of your live site without being published to your domain) it’s a way for us to review and test the site before going live.

We will share each page *should you have bought additional pages, as we develop them over email for your feedback and approval.

Phase 7: QA, Debugging & Testing

Internal Workings - Weekly Status Updates

During our last week of development, our QA manager will test for bugs, broken links, responsiveness, copy errors, and design gaps and will log all bug tickets with our developer to fix prior to going live.

Once all bugs are fixed, we perform our comprehensive go-live checklist and implement our SEO fundamentals into your website to ensure all performance and SEO basics are covered and ready for launch.

Phase 8: Launch & Handover

In our last final call, we will do a Webflow walkthrough and a “brand assets walkthrough to hand over the keys to your Ferrari.

We'll give you training on making copy updates, switching images, and how to work with your CMS. Post this handover, you will have 1 full week of free development support for any fixes, and updates to help with the transition.

At this stage (month 2), we can discuss any additional pages and which development plan / add-on plan would be suit your needs for the coming month/s.

This is not goodbye. We will be here and ready to support you as you launch your new brand and website to the market.

What We Need From You During This Process

  • After each milestone reveal, we will need your feedback / approval in a timely manner as we have a very short window in between phases of work.
  • For the UI design + Copy direction reveal, you will have up to 1 week to provide all feedback in the copy document / Figma file. You will have two ways in which you can provide us feedback:
  1. You can leave us a comment within the Google doc / Relume tool or
  2. You can leave us comments directly within the Figma board (where you can see the design and actual real copy)

If during this time you prefer to provide any urgent feedback in person, we can schedule in a ad-hoc video call during the phases. You just let us know!

**Things get busy and sometimes there are things we need from you, so please make sure you carve out time in your calendar on and around the following dates provided so that you have dedicated and focused time to provide your feedback to us.
